The Tijuana Center of Excellence is a resource-rich facility with advanced equipment and a skilled workforce (including 20 engineers — some with Ph.D. degrees — and 180 direct labor employees). Benchmark Tijuana conducts rigorous environmental screening tests, including thermal shock, vibration, and thermal vacuum tests (outsourced) to validate the durability and performance of high-performance products like space, electronic warfare, radar, and wireless infrastructure components.
Each filter can further undergo radiographic inspection to detect any internal defects or anomalies that may affect functionality. Specialized filters are also subjected to random vibration testing to simulate the vibrations that might be encountered in harsh operational environments and to ensure their resilience under such conditions. Some filters further undergo repeated thermal shock cycles to evaluate their ability to withstand extreme temperature fluctuations.
