Health Matters offers a personalized platform to support all aspects of your health. From cultivating daily habits, to virtual class offerings, to engaging  in healthy competition among coworkers, there are a variety of options for you to explore.

Wellness Incentives
You have the ability to earn wellness incentives toward medical premiums and financial rewards.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
The EAP helps manage your and your family's total health, including mental, emotional, and physical. The EAP is provided by Benchmark at no cost to you.
Benchmark employees have access to a number of care-based solutions through Employees also enjoy access to discounts through LifeMart, a members only discount shopping website.

Financial Benefits

Retirement Plan
Benchmark's 401(k) plan includes both pre-tax and Roth contribution options, as well as a company match of 100% of the first 4% of your contribution.

Health Savings Account (HSA)
Employees enrolled in the BCBS HSA 1600 or BCBS HSA 5000 may be eligible to participate in an HSA. Benchmark provides a company match of $500 for individual and $1,000 for family coverage.

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
Benchmark offers both a Healthcare FSA and Dependant Care FSA so you can set aside pre-tax dollars from your paycheck to pay for eligible healthcare and dependant care expenses.

Employee Wellness: Beyond the workplace, we strive to ensure our employees enjoy the benefits of good health.
An employee assistance program via EmployeeConnect offers U.S. employees help in managing an employee's total health and that of their family. It includes mental health assistance, legal or financial advice, relationship counseling, substance abuse support, and time management. It covers four face-to-face visits per issue and is entirely confidential.

Wellness Programs at Benchmark
Benchmark offers a range of wellness resources for U.S. employees.

  1. All U.S. employees receive access to Health Matters, powered by Virgin Pulse, a wellness technology hub that incentivizes healthy lifestyles. Points for completing healthy activities can be used to make purchases at the Virgin Pulse store. Additionally, employees completing a confidential annual wellness screening and questionnaire receive a discount on medical premiums.
  2. Hinge Health is a program offered at no cost to U.S. employees that focuses on back and joint pain, recovering from injuries, or preparing for surgery. Physical therapy, health coaching, wearable sensors, and second opinions on treatment are all included.
  3. For U.S. employees with diabetes or related conditions, the Livongo program through Teladoc provides blood glucose and blood pressure monitoring and coaching.
  4. The Tobacco Cessation Program for U.S. employees provides interactive and educational programs to develop daily habits connected to actions to build and reinforce healthier choices. Tobacco users must complete the cessation program to end the monthly medical premium surcharge.

Tuition Assistance: Benchmark recognizes that the skills and knowledge of its employees are critical to the success of the organization. The Educational Assistance Program encourages personal development through formal education in an effort to enhance current skills as well as to improve future potential benefit to Benchmark.
