in the east of the country near the Technical University Twente and 20 minutes from the German border.
Almelo is a 45-minute drive from Munster Airport (Germany) and 2.5 hours drive from Amsterdam Schiphol
International Airport. Rotterdam Harbour is a 3 hour drive.

Travelling by Car (Schiphol- Almelo)
Follow the sign 'UITGANG'. Exit the Airport onto the A4, towards Amsterdam. At junction 5, turn right onto the A9 heading eastbound towards Amersfoort. At the A1 turn right towards Amersfoort. Continue on the A1 past Apeldoorn and Rijssen. At the next junction turn left onto
A35 (Almelo) and follow map below. Distance approximately 145 Km (approximately 1.45 hours driving).
Traveling by Train (Schiphol- Almelo)
On the airport follow the exit signs. Follow the signs to the trains and go to track 1-2. Take the intercity train in the direction of Enschede. Train is leaving every 21min or 51 min of the hour.
