How smart would a ‘smart wall’ be at the border?

Benchmark, based in Tempe, Ariz., has built on the idea of surveillance towers and built it into Border Patrol pickup trucks. At the top of a 30-foot retractable mast are powerful day and night vision cameras and lasers, with a range of about six miles.

"You can't overload the agent with data or task them with things that keep them from their primary mission." Benchmark CTO Jan Janick describes how Benchmark mobile surveillance technology is contributing to border security.
