About Benchmark Romania
Benchmark Romania is an ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified organization located at Brasov situated in the
central part of Romania, 2.5 hours drive from the capital city, Bucharest, 8-hours drive from the Western
border and 5-hours from Constanta, the largest harbour at the Black Sea. Otopeni International Airport is
a 2 hour drive, and a new International Airport is to be constructed at Brasov adjacent to the Ghimbav Industrial
Park which also has immediate access to the E68 European highway.
Benchmark Romania is resourced and established to serve customers in the industrial and medical markets with
significant competencies in complex assembly of Test & Measurement devices. The division also offers customers
access to a locally based supply chain and to post-manufacturing fulfillment and refurbishment services. Our
close cooperation with the nearby Transylvania University provides us with a highly educated English speaking
workforce dedicated to serving our European customers in conjunction with our sister divisions in the Netherlands
and Ireland.
