Brasov is situated in the central part of Romania, 3-hours drive from the capital city in Bucharest, 8-hours drive from the Western border and 5-hours from Constanta, the largest harbor at the Black Sea. Brasov has a very good industrial tradition, particularly in mechanics. The Benchmark facility is located in two buildings in the former Tractor Factory in Brasov. One of the buildings is refurbished to EMS standards, and the other is used by the mechanical business. The facility commenced operations in June 2004.
