Releasing Benchmark’s Sustainability Report each year is an important moment to reflect on progress, accountability, and the discipline required to turn commitments into measurable results. With the release of our 2025 Sustainability Report, we mark our fifth consecutive year of transparent reporting and continued advancement of sustainability as a core element of how we operate and serve our customers.
Over the past year, teams across Benchmark worked together to bring our purpose to life, innovating for a healthier, safer, and better-connected world. Sustainability remains deeply integrated into our business strategy, supporting customer needs, strengthening operational resilience, and preparing the Company for evolving expectations around transparency and disclosure.
One of the most significant milestones outlined in this year’s report is the achievement of our goal to reduce absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 15 percent from a 2021 base year. This progress reflects years of focused effort across our global operations, supported by investments in energy efficiency, process improvements, and disciplined execution at the site level.
Equally important is how we track and manage performance. In 2025, Benchmark continued to expand the use of a global greenhouse gas data management system across all sites, enabling consistent data collection, improved decision-making, and limited assurance of reported emissions. This approach strengthens confidence in our disclosures and supports continuous improvement across the organization.
Safety and people development remain foundational to our sustainability efforts. During the year, we continued to improve workplace safety performance, expanded global mentoring and leadership development programs, and reinforced our commitment to ethical business practices. This included enhanced training on the ethical use of artificial intelligence and continued refinement of our AI governance framework.
Risk management is another area of focus highlighted in the report. In 2025, a broad group of leaders participated in Benchmark’s annual enterprise risk assessment process, resulting in the identification and prioritization of the Company’s top risks and the development of mitigation plans at the enterprise level. This work helps ensure sustainability considerations remain embedded in broader business decision-making.
Environmental performance improvements were further supported through the fourth annual Benchmark Environmental Challenge, an internal global initiative focused on reducing energy and resource consumption across manufacturing operations. The challenge continues to engage employees worldwide in identifying opportunities to reduce fuel, natural gas, freon, and electricity usage, while increasing the use of renewable electricity where available.
Benchmark’s sustainability reporting is informed by leading global frameworks and standards, including the Global Reporting Initiative, Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures, Sustainability Accounting Standards Board, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. We also continue to participate in CDP Climate Change and Water Security disclosures and, as of 2025, Benchmark received an MSCI ESG Rating of AA.
As we look ahead, sustainability remains an essential foundation for Benchmark’s long-term growth. The systems, processes, and governance described in this report position us to meet future disclosure requirements while continuing to deliver meaningful value for our customers.
We invite you to explore the 2025 Sustainability Report to learn more about our progress and priorities, and we look forward to continuing this journey together.
