Benchmark supports Rule 13p-1 under the Exchange Act (Conflict Minerals Law) and actively works to avoid sourcing conflict minerals that directly or indirectly finance or benefit armed groups in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and in adjoining countries. Benchmark’s Conflict Mineral Policy provides all necessary conflict minerals content declarations.
At Benchmark, social and environmental responsibility expectations are communicated and agreed to by all new suppliers through a signed Declaration on Business Ethics and Compliance Letter. Benchmark’s Employee Code of Conduct reflects our core values and underlying commitment to ensuring we are fostering the best possible work environment for everyone. Oversight starts at the top by an Audit Committee that receives regular reports from Benchmark’s Chief Compliance Officer. We also encourage every team member to “Speak Up” to promote a positive and ethical organizational culture.
