At Benchmark, we provide engineering and manufacturing services for products that people rely upon when it matters most: life-saving medical technologies, mission-critical defense systems, and key telecommunications and industrial equipment that are essential critical infrastructure.
Right now, individuals, governments, medical professionals, and companies around the world are coming together to slow the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic and save lives. For Benchmark, we can best help by continuing reliable production and even increasing production of medical devices and other important tools that will help others combat this disease and maintain essential services. Our customers include some of the world’s best-known providers of critical medical equipment who are working with medical professionals and governments to get equipment where it is needed most. At Benchmark, we are doing everything possible to make sure those devices are available.
As the global COVID-19 pandemic evolves, Benchmark is following guidance from the World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as working with national, state, and local governments to determine the best operating status for each of our global sites based on the current situation in that area and the products manufactured at that site. While some employees are being asked to work from home, this is not an option for many directly involved in the production of critical products. For our employees working in our manufacturing facilities, we have added new protocols for cleaning, spacing of personnel, and more. We will continue to work with our employees, customers, and government authorities to find ways to keep the supply chain flowing while keeping people safe.
Benchmark thanks our employees for their dedication and commitment as well as our customers and partners for their continued trust as we manage through this time together.
