Benchmark Electronics is committed to fulfilling its social and environmental responsibilities as a global corporate citizen.

To enhance and effectively address our obligations, Benchmark has implemented manufacturing processes and material management methods which meet the environmental requirements for the European Union (EU) Directives: Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and Restriction on the use of certain Hazardous Substances (RoHS).

Benchmark intends to support both tin-lead and lead-free manufacturing processes into the future. Benchmark expects our suppliers to also provide both tin-lead and RoHS compliant materials as required.

Benchmark has provided three supplier letters and associated questionnaires to our supply base.  To better help our suppliers understand Benchmark’s expectations, we have included links to information we believe is pertinent to a successful business relationship.

The following links will direct you to the supplier letters that each Benchmark supplier should have received:

Supplier letter one – General Requirements
Supplier letter one spreadsheet – Response to the general requirements
Supplier letter two – Supplier transition roadmap
Supplier letter two survey - Roadmap survey response
Supplier letter three – Declaration of compliance
